Our Communities

Creating vibrant, healthy and prosperous neighbourhoods: Discover our community efforts and positive social impacts.

We generate and share value with our stakeholders and surrounding communities by: engaging collaboratively with our tenants, supporting local community organisations and forming close partnerships with our suppliers.

We understand the importance of fostering and maintain close relationships with our local communities, improving occupier experiences and creating healthy, desirable, prosperous places.

Our Social Value Framework

Our Social Value Framework provides the basis and structure for measuring the social value generated by our business and so our positive contribution to society. Our approach to delivering and measuring social value is based on the widely-recognised UK National Social Value TOMs framework. For further information, please see our Social Value Framework and 2023 Sustainability report.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility

Our CSR committee, formed of employees from across the business, drives our programme of volunteering, charitable giving and activities which not only support the health and wellbeing of our employees, but ensure we are working with our communities to ensure a healthier, safer and more resilient future.
The Committee helps us to maintain close relationships with local charitable organisations as well as nationally recognised charities, as we continue to increase our volunteering activities across our core focus areas; food poverty, homelessness and youth education, skills and training.
This year, our main charity partner is LandAid, who aim to end youth homelessness in the UK. We have worked closely with LandAid for several years, partaking in various annual charitable events and campaigns, including the LandAid sleepout and 10km charity run.
We also work closely with the National Literacy Trust, who helps to empower people, of various ages, with vital literacy skills. In 2023, we worked with the National Literacy Trust to provide students local to our UK head office, with work experience opportunities. We will continue our support of young people, through partnerships including the National Literacy Trust in the coming years.
Across our business, we continue to also volunteer with organisations such as “Serve the City Luxembourg” for World Clean-up Day, the Brixton and Norwood Foodbanks and BeeUrban.

The sheer amount of different projects the students were exposed to is something they rarely have the chance to experience at 17 years old. This was a one in a million opportunity and I am excited to continue working with CLS Holdings to offer this chance to local students.

Our tenants, our focus

Our occupiers are one of our primary focuses. We aim to provide our tenants with modern, energy efficient buildings designed to maximise occupant health and wellbeing. Fundamentally, we want to ensure the spaces we provide enable their businesses to grow.

Throughout our organisation, we work together to ensure we maximise tenant experiences at every opportunity. Be it through occupier satisfaction surveys, our tenant app or in-person events and webinars, we are constantly striving to drive positive engagement.

From a sustainability perspective, we recognise the shared opportunities and benefits a strong tenant-landlord relationship offers. Our 2023 Sustainability Report offers further information about our focuses, engagement efforts and progress over the past year.
